The Original Vallarta Restaurant

Small mom & pop Mexican Restaurant with delicious food. The crispy tacos, refried beans and rice are the best. The red salsa is also awesome. Not fancy outside or inside but don't let that stop you from enjoying this little gem.

Love this place all the food we got was delicious and look at this Migas taco. The serving is bigger than my flour tortilla. Wow

The Original Vallarta is the first place I eat at when I'm in the area. Food is very good and consistent, the hours are very early to late but the best part is the friendly staff. The only negative thing that I can think of is last Tuesday night I went with a friend who ordered liver. I ordered fajitas. When the waitress brought our food to the table, she gave me the liver and without thinking I popped a piece of what I was expecting to be fajitas but nooo! LIVER! I hate liver. My bad. After using the hot sauce a mouthwash, all was well.Try it, you're gonna like it.Do not confuse the Original Vallarta with the Vallarta in Rockport next to the tackle store.

Very original. Food was perfectly cooked and delicious. Very good service. Building is older...would recommend to anyone who loves good Mexican food.

Delicious! Kindness and service with a smile. Grandson was cranky. The waitress knew our order would be a while since the place was packed, so she brought our toddler a bowl of juicy, fresh sliced fruit to tie him over.

Breakfast Food was reasonable priced and for the money very good. Lady at the checkout counter was very friendly and courteous. Waitress was a little standoffish but got us what we needed in a prompt manner.
